Two-Component Sealing and Penetrating Polyurea Primer for Concrete

BW8009

Two-component high-penetration concrete sealing primer for prepared porous concrete and compatible mineral substrates. It helps penetrate the surface, seal pores, consolidate the base and improve adhesion for the following coating layer.

Product Description

The anticorrosive coating is a complete system consisting of primer, intermediate coat and topcoat. The primer serves as the foundation of the entire coating system, directly determining the overall quality of the coating. In the coating system, the primer undertakes two core functions: first, it penetrates into the substrate, consolidates residual dust to reinforce the base, and seals moisture and air on the substrate surface; second, it has excellent compatibility with subsequent coatings and enhances the adhesive strength between the coating and the substrate. BW8009 two-component sealing primer features high permeability and sealing performance. It is environmentally friendly, widely applied to concrete substrates, and effectively improves the overall quality of the entire coating system.

1.02 g/cm³DensityProvides listed density data for primer material comparison and system planning.
1000 µmRecommended DFTSupports thicker primer filling and scraping work where the project requires substrate pore treatment.

Product Features and Advantages

BW8009 supports concrete coating-system foundations by penetrating surface pinholes, sealing pores, consolidating residual dust and improving adhesion between porous substrates and the following coating layer.

Sealing and Penetration Support

  • Substrate PenetrationExcellent penetrating quality helps the primer infiltrate pinholes and small defects on the substrate surface.
  • Surface ConsolidationHelps consolidate residual dust and reinforce the base before follow-up coating work.
  • Pore SealingSupports sealing of moisture and air at the substrate surface when the listed substrate conditions are met.
  • Dense Primer FilmForms a dense and solid primer layer with shielding support before compatible coatings.

Coating System Support

  • Adhesion ImprovementHelps improve adhesive strength between the substrate and the following compatible coating layer.
  • Waterproofing SupportThe technical sheet highlights waterproof performance for prepared substrate primer use.
  • Temperature Variation ResistanceThe listed physical data supports review under the stated laboratory test condition.
  • Coverage PlanningThe listed theoretical coverage helps estimate primer use at 50 micrometers film thickness.

FAQ about BW8009 Concrete Sealing Penetrating Primer

These answers support primer selection, concrete substrate review, mixing control and coating-system planning before ordering.

BW8009 is a two-component sealing and penetrating polyurea primer used on prepared concrete and compatible mineral substrates before compatible follow-up coatings.

BW8009 is a two-component primer with a listed 3:2 Part A to Part B ratio. BW8007 is a one-component moisture-curing primer. Both require substrate preparation and following-coat compatibility review.

BW8009 is a primer layer for substrate penetration, pore sealing and adhesion support. It should not be presented as the main waterproofing membrane, finish coat or complete corrosion-control layer.

The technical sheet says the concrete substrate should be fully cured, clean, dry, dense and free from oil or stains. Obvious damaged interfaces and cracks should be repaired before dust removal.

The technical sheet lists the Part A to Part B mix ratio as 3:2 by volume. Accurate proportioning and complete mixing are required before application.

Prepare only the amount needed, close the package quickly after pouring, and use the poured material within 1 hour. Remaining material should not be returned to the original container.
