One-Component Sealing and Penetrating Polyurea Primer for Concrete

BW8007

One-component penetrating polyurea primer for outdoor tile, concrete, stone, ceramic tile and wood substrates. It helps wet the surface, seal pores and improve adhesion before compatible protective coating systems.

Product Description

BW8007 One-Component Sealing and Penetrating Polyurea Primer for Concrete is formulated with high-performance polyurethane resin prepolymer as the main film-forming material. It cures after absorbing and reacting with atmospheric moisture, featuring high fluidity and strong penetration into substrates, along with good sealing performance and high adhesive strength. The coating film is environmentally friendly and easy to apply. It has been widely used on concrete and other substrates to effectively enhance the overall performance of subsequent coatings.

1.02 g/cm³DensityProvides listed density data for primer material comparison and system planning.
30 dAlkali ResistanceLists no corrosion, blistering or peeling under the stated 50% NaOH test condition.

Product Features and Advantages

BW8007 focuses on one-component primer handling and substrate wet-out, helping seal surface pores, improve primer-side adhesion and create a more uniform interface before compatible follow-up coating systems.

Film Formation and Substrate Wet-Out

  • One-Component HandlingNo component-ratio mixing is required, reducing the risk of proportioning error during primer application.
  • Low Viscosity and High FluidityThe technical sheet lists low viscosity and high fluidity for substrate wetting and penetration support.
  • Sealing and PenetrationHelps seal prepared substrate pores and create a more uniform primer interface before the following coating.
  • Wetting PropertySupports wet-out of prepared concrete, tile, marble and compatible substrate surfaces.
  • Coverage PlanningThe listed theoretical coverage helps estimate primer use at 40 micrometers film thickness.

Following-Coat Support

  • Adhesion SupportDesigned to improve adhesive strength between the prepared substrate and compatible following coating film.
  • Bubble ReductionThe primer helps reduce bubble risk by sealing prepared substrate pores before the next coating layer.
  • Water and Moisture ResistanceThe technical sheet lists waterproof and moisture-resistance performance for project review.
  • Anticorrosion SupportCan be reviewed as part of the substrate-surface anticorrosion coating route described in the technical sheet.
  • Compatibility ReviewConfirm compatibility with the following coating film and project exposure before full application.

BW8007 Frequently Asked Questions

Review the main substrate, application, recoating and document questions before specifying or ordering BW8007.

BW8007 is a one-component moisture-curing sealing and penetrating polyurea primer for prepared concrete, marble, ceramic tile, wood and compatible substrates before follow-up coatings.

The technical sheet positions BW8007 as a sealing and penetrating primer for concrete, marble, ceramic tile and wood substrates. Existing tile use still requires substrate condition and adhesion review.

BW8007 is used to improve substrate wetting, sealing penetration and adhesive strength so the following compatible coating layer has a more stable base.

No A/B component proportioning is listed for BW8007. It is a one-component material, but it should still be agitated uniformly before application and used within the listed opened-material period.

The technical sheet lists theoretical coverage of 0.08 kg/m² at 40 micrometers film thickness, a 3-24 h recoating interval at 25°C and a 1 h opened-material use period.

Check that the substrate is dry, clean, compact and free of grease or stains. Cracks or damaged areas should be repaired before cleaning by air grinding or vacuum method.
