One-Component Polyurea Elastomer Grouting Plugging Agent

BW6-190

One-component foaming polyurea grouting material for concrete cracks, leakage paths and localized waterproof repair. It expands after contact with water to help fill voids, block water channels and stop active leakage.

Product Description

BW6-190 One-Component Polyurea Elastomer Grouting Plugging Agent is a hydrophilic polyurea elastomer plugging material, prepolymerized with amine-terminated polyether and isocyanate as the main resins. After pressurization by a grouting machine, the agent can penetrate into the microcracks of concrete structures and react with water or moisture present in the cracks. This product exhibits rapid reactivity with water, and its volume expands more than tenfold quickly after the reaction, forming a high-toughness and high-strength polymer elastomer. Endowed with high permeability, high bonding strength, high expansion rate and flexibility, it can rapidly seal microcracks (less than 0.2mm) and capillary pores of concrete structures, providing permanent waterproof and anti-leakage protection.

Application Environment and Guide

Stable grouting performance depends on concrete soundness, crack continuity, water condition, needle layout and injection pressure. Review the application sequence and guide values before installation, and confirm final parameters with the latest TDS and project requirements.

Application instructions

Product data table
StepApplication instruction
01Grouting equipmentUse the same equipment used for traditional foamed polyurethane grouting; no need to replace the machine when changing materials.
02Substrate treatmentClean debris and dust on and around concrete cracks; ensure the surrounding concrete is firm and clean.
03Pre-embedded grouting needlesDrill inclined holes at a 45° angle along both sides of the crack. Hole depth must penetrate the crack. Set one needle every 10-15 cm and add a 45° needle at crack intersections.
04Crack cleaningIf conditions permit, inject water for crack cleaning and observe whether water overflows from the crack surface. Add needles where local areas do not overflow.
05Polyurea groutingPour the grouting agent into the hopper and start water-stop reinforcement grouting. Continue pressing for 2-3 seconds after the next needle exudes grout.
06Supplementary groutingEnsure cracks are fully filled. Add grouting needles for insufficiently grouted areas until there is no water seepage.

FAQ about BW6-190 hydrophilic grouting material.

These answers stay focused on grouting equipment, water-reactive crack filling and leakage plugging workflow.

BW6-190 is a one-component hydrophilic water-reactive grouting material for pressure injection into concrete cracks, capillary pores and active leakage paths.

No. BW6-190 is not a surface coating. It is injected under pressure into concrete cracks or leakage paths, where it reacts with water or moisture and forms an elastomeric plugging body inside the structure.

It reacts with water or moisture inside the crack and forms an elastomeric plugging body. Use the listed 800-900% foaming-rate data for expansion review.

It can be reviewed for concrete crack leakage, capillary-pore sealing, basement leakage repair, tunnel or culvert leakage and concrete tank or underground-structure grouting.

The guide references traditional foamed-polyurethane grouting equipment and 45 degree inclined holes, typically with one needle every 10-15 cm along the crack path.

Confirm the leakage path, water condition, concrete soundness, injection pressure, needle spacing and whether structural movement or damage requires separate engineering assessment.
