One-Component Modified Polyurea Heavy-Duty Anti-Corrosion Coating

BW6-959

One-component modified polyurea heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating for prepared pipelines, tanks, steel structures and industrial maintenance surfaces. It forms a dense protective layer for corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant maintenance.

Product Description

BW6-959 is a one-component modified polyurea heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating synthesized from an MDI resin prepolymer. The cured coating film forms a dense, tough structure that can adapt to slight deformation of industrial metal structures caused by vibration, thermal expansion and contraction. It helps block air, moisture and corrosive media, delaying corrosion on metal structures. The coating film contains urea bonds, biuret bonds, urethane bonds and hydrogen bonds, supporting mechanical properties and long-lasting anti-corrosion performance.

Product Features and Advantages

BW6-959 combines one-component handling with dense anti-corrosion film formation, helping protect prepared industrial surfaces from moisture, air, selected corrosive media and mechanical wear.

Protective Film Performance

  • Strong Substrate AdhesionSupports firm bonding to carbon steel, concrete and other prepared substrates for industrial corrosion-protection work.
  • Dense Flexible FilmThe cured coating is compact and flexible, helping resist minor deformation from vibration and thermal expansion.
  • Mechanical ProtectionThe coating provides wear, impact and scratch resistance for industrial protective coating service.
  • Waterproof and Corrosion ResistanceHelps reduce penetration of water, air and selected corrosive media on prepared industrial surfaces.

Application and Field Handling

  • One-Component Modified PolyureaSingle-component handling avoids mix-ratio errors associated with multi-component coatings.
  • Multiple Coating MethodsThe guide lists airless spray, air spray, brush and roller for reviewed site conditions.
  • Recoat Window ControlThe 4-24 h recoat interval helps plan multi-coat work; sand or blast and clean the surface if the interval is exceeded or dust is deposited.
  • Low-Temperature HandlingLow-temperature work requires bucket preconditioning and controlled material handling before application.
