Solvent-Free Polyaspartic Rigid Coating

BW0-8031

Solvent-free rigid polyaspartic protective coating for prepared steel, concrete, wood and ceramic tile surfaces, including waterproofing work over existing tiles without tile removal.

Product Description

BW0-8031 is synthesized through the reactive polymerization of polyaspartic ester and polyisocyanate. As polyaspartic ester is an aliphatic sterically hindered secondary amine, and the selected curing component is an aliphatic polyisocyanate, the resulting coating film features high gloss and excellent color retention, making it suitable for long-term outdoor applications. Upon the reaction between secondary amine groups and isocyanate groups, a cross-interpenetrating polymer network with high crosslink density is formed, which endows the product with outstanding physical and chemical properties. It can also be reviewed for waterproof coating over properly prepared ceramic tile surfaces when the project needs waterproofing without tile removal. It represents an innovative upgrade in anticorrosion coating products.
